  6. Refine and prioritize: Finally, the team should review the categories and ideas and refine them as needed. This may involve consolidating categories, eliminating duplicates, or prioritizing the most important ideas based on the team's goals and objectives.

Affinity mapping is a highly effective tool for organizing and synthesizing qualitative data, but it is important to note that it is only one step in the broader design thinking process. Once the affinity map has been created, the team must then use it to guide further research, ideation, prototyping, and testing to develop actionable solutions that address the key themes and issues identified.
